Success in HCPC fitness to practise case for paramedic

Kings View Chambers represented a paramedic facing Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) fitness to practise proceedings.

JG, a paramedic, was facing very serious charges relating to drug misuse at work which could have had a huge impact of patient safety.

JG had used a number of different solicitors before instructing Kings View Chambers.  Instructing Kings View Chambers, JG stated that he felt we actually listened to him and understood the case from his viewpoint. He also stated that we gave clear advice during each part of the process.

Speaking about the case, joint head of chambers Stephen McCaffrey said:

With representation from Kings View Chambers, JG’s fitness to practise was found not impaired, and no action was taken against his registration.
